Meltdown At Southington Store Leads To Charges
A man was charged via a warrant for a summertime tirade at a Southington store, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A man is facing charges after a meltdown at a Southington store, police said.
Police released the details of the Sept. 20 arrest on Monday. Dean Gray, 29, of Springfield, MA was arrested on an outstanding warrant. A warrant charged Gray with the violation of a protective order, third-degree stalking, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor.
The incident involving Gray occurred on Aug. 30 at a store on Queen Street in Southington, police said.

According to a report, during that incident, Gray became involved in a dispute with a "female acquaintance." When the woman arrived at the store in her vehicle, Gray pulled up next to her in his vehicle and began to yell at her, demanding money that she allegedly owed him, according to a report.
Gray followed the woman into the store and was yelling and swearing at her and she ran into the bathroom to get away from him. Gray followed her and began banging on the door and yelling, accordng to a report.

The woman’s child was present the entire time, according to a report.
Gray fled the store before police arrived.
