Memory screenings can be first step to diagnosis

Free confidential screenings Wed., April 10, 12:30p, Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. RSVP 860.747.5728. Mulberry Gardens sponsors.

PLAINVILLE – Memory screenings are free, confidential and average 10 minutes with questions and tasks to assess memory. They do not diagnose any illness, but can indicate whether someone should follow up with a full medical exam. Free screenings by appointment will be held Wednesday, April 10, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., at Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St. Jennifer Doty, social worker at Mulberry Gardens of Southington, will conduct the screenings. Mulberry Gardens of Southington is sponsoring.

Seating is limited. To set up a time for screening, call Plainville Senior Center at 860.747.5728.
