Meriden Man Hits Sign In Front Of Southington Bank

The crash took place late Wednesday night, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - A Meriden man was hospitalized early Thursday morning after his vehicle struck a sign in front of TD Bank on the Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, the Record-Journal Reported.

Just before midnight Wednesday, Jonathan Ruiz, 34, of Meriden, crashed into the TD bank sign at 921 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, according to police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Dobratz.

Ruiz was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, Dobratz said.
