Meriden Police: Southington Man Arrested For Swerving Around Old Lowe's Lot
He is facing a DUI charge, police said.

MERIDEN, CT — A Southington man faces DUI charges after police said he drove aimlessly around the abandoned Lowe’s parking lot and then challenged police when they eventually caught up to him, according to a Record-Journal story.
Michael Scaringe 48, of 194 West Main St., Southington, was arrested on Thursday and charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, failure to carry license and failure to drive in the proper lane.
The incident took place just after midnight.

An officer was able to catch up to him at the driveway of a home on Horton Avenue, the report said.
Scaringe was confrontational with officers, and slurred his words, the report said.
