Middle Schoolers From Southington Qualify For Hunt Seat Nationals
The middle school team from TerryAllen Farms competed at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Zone 1 Finals.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Middle school riders from Southington have Qualified for thew Hunt Seat Nationals.
The middle school team from Terryville-based TerryAllen Farms competed at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Zone 1 Finals at the Big E Coliseum on April 2 and 3. IEA is in its 20th year and has 14,500 riders in 46 states, with New England being amongst the largest of the 11 national zones including Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
Under trainer Samantha Borkoski and assistant trainer Riley Babb, Southington sixth-grader Giuliana Pace qualified for IEA Nationals in two events including the United States Hunter Jumper Association Future Novice Equitation on the Flat division as an individual, and also the USHJA Future Novice Over Fences as a team rider.

Emma O'Neil Simpson of Southington qualified for Future Novice Equitation on the Flat. TAF middle schoolers qualified by winning the team competition at Zone 1 Finals.
The TAF team will be riding at IEA Nationals April 28th - May 1st, 2022 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg, PA.
