Missing Anything? It Might Be At Southington Library.

The Southington Public Library will discard or donate any unclaimed items from its lost-and-found box at the end of the month.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Are you missing anything from the past year?

There's a chance that if you are and you visited the Southington Public Library, you might just have left it there.

The library Friday posted images of many items that are in the facility's lost-and-found bin and they want the public to check and see if they belong to them.

Among the items are a winter clothing, a baseball hat, several items of jewelry, personal photographs, as well as bookmarks, children's books, and other items.

Library officials, however, say the clock is ticking to pick up your lost items. Anything left at the end of the month will be tossed.

"Did you forget something at the library in 2023?" wrote the library. "Help us return these items to their rightful homes. Anything not picked up by the end of January will be discarded or donated."

The Southington Public Library is located at 255 Main St., Southington.
