More Water Main Work Announced In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Town officials said Monday that 94 streets will be impacted by ongoing water main cleaning efforts.

The Southington Water Department Monday warned folks of potentially discolored water at times for listed residential streets through Saturday, May 6.

Local officials urged customers to check their water prior to doing any laundry and to "excuse any temporary discoloration."

They said the water mains on the listed streets will not be cleaned in any particular order and it is based on weather conditions.
