Navigating the ‘what ifs’ during the ‘Golden Years’

Golden Years, retirement, senior housing, health issues, financial problems, Center for Healthy Aging, Hartford HealthCare, senior services

BERLIN – A free program, focusing on questions related to the “Golden Years,” will be held Friday, Sept. 23, from 1 to 2 p.m. This event focuses on questions related to preparing for the retirement years and beyond: What are the varying levels of care available? What types of housing, funding sources, and resources are at my disposal in the community? This event will be held at Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive.

Discussion will include the differences between being proactive vs. reactive. The facilitator will be Marc Levesque, MS, senior resource case manager, Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, which is sponsoring the program.
