New Committee Makes Fast Pitch for New Softball Field at Southington High School
Committee committee charged with studying civil rights at SHS meets for the first time.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — New signs and an upgrades to the fast-pitch softball field are two of items being discussed by a committee charged with examining equality at Southington High School.
The committee met for the first time Wednesday and the Record-Journal detailed what transpired.
Superintendent of Schools Tim Connellan is joined by Town Council member Ed Pocock, Principal Brian Stranieri, Board of Education member Patricia Queen, school Operations Director Pete Romano and town attorney Mark Sciota.
