New Hotel Proposed for Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT – A hotel could be coming to town on West Street, the Record-Journal reported.

And it could be a four-story Courtyard by Marriott, along with five retail establishment and a restaurant could be approved for an undeveloped West Street property near the Interstate-84 interchange.

The hotel could be 125-rooms with the adjoining retail plaza just south of Curtiss Street.

If approved this summer, work on the hotel could begin this fall and take between a year and 18 months.
