New Principal Named at Southington's Flanders School

SOUTHINGTON, CT – Flanders Elementary School has a new principal.

The Board of Education on Thursday appointed Katie Guerrette as the new top administrator at Flanders, Superintendent of Schools Timothy Connellan said. Her start date has yet to be determined.

Guerrette has been serving as an assistant principal for both the Edna Stevens School and Woodside Intermediate School in Cheshire, Connellan said.

Before that, she was a classroom teacher at Cheshire's Higland Elementary School, he said.
