New Restaurant Space at Knotter Drive in Southington Approved

New restaurants could be coming to a commercial development on Knotter Drive.

The Record-Journal reports that the Planning and Zoning Commission approved a special use permit to build 7,100 and a 4,000 square foot buildings.

A special condition of the permit is that there are to be no drive throughs. A separate private agreement also means there won’t be a restaurant that sells hamburgers due to an agreement with nearby Burger King.
