New Urgent Care Center Opens in Southington

Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care, a joint venture created to bring "patient-focused urgent care centers" to the area.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care, a joint venture created to bring "patient-focused urgent care centers" to central and eastern Connecticut, opened its seventh center in Southington on Monday.

The center will operate seven days a week with extended evening hours. Walk-in patients will be accommodated, but patients will also have the opportunity to “save a spot” through a online check-in.

The Southington center will be open 365 days a year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The Center will treat common, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries like allergic reactions; rashes; cuts, burns and bites; falls; sprains; strains and broken bones; colds and the flu; sore throats; pink eye; infections and more.

The centers also offer preventative health services that include vaccinations, flu shots and physicals (school, sports and yearly).

Each center features x-ray equipment and a lab, combined with an integrated electronic medical record system that can be accessed by caregivers across the Hartford HealthCare system.
