  • Inspired to excel, 897 members of the Class of 2019, including seven from Southington, were awarded a Bryant University degree at the 156th Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2019. These accomplished graduates join a powerful network of more than 50,000 alumni around the world who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their organizations and communities.
    Nicola DiFusco graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Casey Doyle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics. Ryan Fryer graduated Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Mathematics. Margaret Mellitt graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Business degree in Accounting. Matthew Steeves graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance. Vedant Vyas graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance. Nicole White graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting.

  • More than 1,250 Eastern Connecticut State University students received their diplomas in the 2018-19 academic year. Eastern's commencement ceremony occured May 21 at the XL Center in Hartford. Students enrolled in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.
