Nurse practitioner presents 'How to Be Heart Smart'

MERIDEN – Catherine Callan, APRN, will present the free program, “How to Be Heart Smart” to share her expertise in how keeping the heart healthy leads to better overall health. The event, set for Tuesday, Feb. 16, will be held 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the Meriden Senior Center, 22 W. Main St. Callan is a nurse practitioner with the Hospital of Central Connecticut Heart Failure Resource Center & Outpatient Cardiology Clinic. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring this program.
