Regina Randich, a resident of Cedar Mountain Commons in Newington, displays the artwork that she created during the Artwork around the World component of the Masterpieces & Mimosas art program. Various styles and themes represented a wide variety of cultures. The art included Chinese New Year, Japanese flower vases, Celtic art and crosses, Australian Aboriginal dot art and Panamanian molas. More than 95 people attended the art show at Cedar Mountain Commons, a not for profit independent and assisted living community located at 3 John H. Stewart Drive, Newington. Masterpieces & Mimosas is an award-winning program that enriches the lives of residents through art education about famous artists and inspiring creativity. www.cedarmountaincommons.org
