The charges resulted from an ongoing investigation into multiple thefts from Home Depot and Lowes stores in Southington, according to a warrant. Police said the investigation revealed that between April and September of 2019, Main and "accomplices" were involved in "organized thefts" of Milwaukee brand tools from the stores in the amount of $2,945.
The tools were then turned over to another person to be sold via an online marketplace.
A warrant for Main's larceny accomplice has been applied for and is pending, police said.
