The Orchards at Southington welcomes Apple Valley AARP 4943
Apple Valley Southington Chapter 4943 holds membership meeting and inducts new officers at The Orchards at Southiington.
The Orchards at Southington, located at 34 Hobart St., hosted the chapter membership meeting of Apple Valley Southington Chapter 4943 of AARP. The June 26 event included a business meeting, special luncheon, induction of new officers and swearing in of the board of directors. New officers include Aline Dynder, president, Elaine Wayland, vice president; Shirley Mason, treasurer; and Sharon Kupiec, secretary. The Apple Valley Chapter supports the community in many ways including gifts and volunteers for the all-night high school graduation party, outreach to veterans at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home, two annual scholarships for high school seniors, and more.
