Pain & Medications: What to Take and What to Avoid

Learn about the safe use of pain medications with pharmacist at free program May 10, 11:30 am, Mulberry Gardens, 58 Mulberry St.

PLANTSVILLE – With the alarm sounding about opiate abuse, understanding pain medications and using appropriately can prevent complications and abuse. A pharmacist will lead the free program “Pain & Medications – What’s Safe and What to Avoid” on Thursday, May 10, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at Mulberry Gardens of Southington, 58 Mulberry St. Presenter will be Sean Jeffery, PharmD, CGP, FASCP, FNAP, AGSF, pharmacist with Integrated Care Partners Hartford HealthCare Group and clinical professor, University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring.
