Panera Bread Expands Delivery Services To Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Panera Bread’s new delivery service expanded to West Hartford and Southington this week. Howley Bread Group (HBG), a Panera Bread franchisee, announced this week that it is now offering home and office delivery of its entire food menu to West Hartford and Southington. HBG now offers café based delivery across nine cafés in Connecticut. Customers who live or work near the following cafés can use the service: West Hartford, Southington, Hartford (State House Square), The Shoppes at Buckland Hills (Manchester), Wethersfield, Glastonbury, Enfield, Farmington, Newington and Groton.

“It is exciting to offer delivery service to our guests,” Tom Howley, senior vice president of Howley Bread Group, said in a press release. “Panera delivery makes it easy to enjoy your favorite soup, salad or sandwich at your home or office on days when it’s not convenient to make it into a bakery-cafe.”

To use the service, customers can place an order online at PaneraBread.com or through the Panera Bread app. Enter your zip code for more information on delivery coverage and times in your area. There is a $5 minimum order and a standard delivery fee of $3.50.

The ordering system also integrates with the MyPanera loyalty program, allowing customers to redeem their rewards.

“Our delivery services are offered seamlessly on our digital platforms, making ordering as easy and convenient as it’s ever been,” Howley said.

For those on the go, or out of the delivery area, another ordering option called Rapid Pick-Up enables guests to place an online or mobile order from their office, car, work or home – also up to two weeks in advance – and pick up their food at a pre-determined time without waiting in line, according to the press release.
