PLAINVILLE – The public is welcome to register now for PARC’s 16th annual Frank Robinson Sr. Thanksgiving Bowling Classic set for Saturday, Nov. 17, from 4 (registration) to 7 p.m. Participants can choose bowling or mini golf at the fundraiser to be held at Lessard Lanes, 136 New Britain Ave. In 2016, the event was renamed to recognize Robinson, a long-time PARC board member, parent and supporter. This year, PARC is honoring veterans.

The $25 registration fee includes open bowling or mini golf, shoe rental (for bowling), hot dog and soda from Ruthie’s Place, T-shirt and one door prize ticket. People are welcome to register individually or as teams. This is one of PARC’s most popular fundraisers but spots are still available.

PARC, a Plainville-based non-profit, has been providing family centered services for people with developmental disabilities for more than 60 years. The program is open to individuals who live in Plainville and contiguous towns.
