Parking Ban, Other Southington Memorial Day Details

Southignton’s Memorial Day Parade will kick-off May 25 at 10:30 a.m. this year.

Detours will be in place by 9:30 a.m., according to police.

NO PARKING: Liberty St. = Entire street
Eden Ave.= Entire street
West of the Green = Entire street
Center St. = From Liberty St. East to Main St.
Columbus Ave.= From Liberty St. East to Main St.

PARADE ROUTE

The parade will form in the lower Derynoski School parking lot off of Eden Ave. at 9:45 am. Once the parade steps off it will exit the parking lot turning left onto Eden Ave. The parade will then turn right onto Liberty St. and travel the length of Liberty St. At Center St., the parade will turn right and travel up Center St. and turn right onto Apple Alley (West side of the Town Green) traveling along the Town Green, ending at Columbus Ave. The parade will disband in the parking lot behind 98 Main Street. A Memorial Service will be held on the Town Green immediately following the parade.
