Pasta Supper To Benefit Southington PD Cadet Program

SPD Cadets are for young people aged 13-22 interested in a career in public safety. The dinner is Wednesday evening.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local youth-based Southington Police Department organization is hosting a special pasta supper Wednesday evening to raise money for Southington Cadet programs.

The dinner is on Wednesday, June 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Polish Falcons Nest (Falcons Hall), 33 Knowles Ave., Southington.

There, a menu of pasta, meatballs, salad, bread and soft drinks will be available, with dinner proceeds funding cadet program uniforms, supplies, equipment and training activities.

The donation is $15 per person for the meal, with children 5 and under free.

The SPD's Cadet Program is for young people aged 13 to 22 who are interested in careers in public safety, forensics, the military and law enforcement.

Tickets will be sold at the door or they can be purchased from any SPD Cadet.
