Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
To volunteer my time and give back to the community that has been supportive of me and my business.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Public safety and I intend to support our local police and first responders through providing the resources they need and listening to their needs
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I bring the perspective of a young father to the Town Council being the youngest person among the incumbent candidates running. I also am a small business owner who brings the perspective of having experience investing and creating jobs in our community. I understand the impact that local governments can have on a business's bottom line.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
The current Republican Town Council majority pushes the "good ole boys club" agenda and doesn’t listen to our residents nor have they put forth fiscally responsible budgets. They also lack foresight and a true plan and forward forward-thinking vision for Southington’s future.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Listening to residents, improving town infrastructure, and exploring new economic development ideas to promote local businesses and our community as a whole.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As a first term town councilor, I helped advocate for more open and transparent government
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Always give back and lend a helping hand
