Peaking Out -- Colorful Fall Foliage
Grab your camera and catch the colorful landscapes of Southington.
The recent frosts have helped Mother Nature create a colorful fall foliage palette.
And with foliage just about at its peak brilliance, share your fall photos with your Patch neighbors. Before you know it, you’ll be out there raking the leaves rather than admiring the colors.
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection reports that just about all of Connecticut is at peak. In lower Fairfield County, the DEEP is reporting moderate color. And in the northwest and northeast corners of the state, colors are just past peak, so leaf-peepers shouldn’t be disappointed.
