Pharmacist leads program showcasing dangers of overmedication in older adults

MERIDEN – As people age, it is not uncommon to be taking multiple medications that can cause complications or even be dangerous. A free program on Friday, April 8 will provide necessary information and the questions to ask to ensure that a medication regimen is safe. Sean Jeffery, PharmD, CGP, FASCP, FNAP, AGSF, director of Clinical Pharmacy Services, Integrated Care Partners, Hartford HealthCare, will facilitate this event set for 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Meriden Senior Center, 22 W. Main St.
