Plainville family wins new truck through March of Dimes & UAW
Dad's job and nephew's birth both tied to March of Dimes, hundreds of miles apart!
March of Dimes Southeast Michigan Market held its 7th annual March of Dimes UAW Ford F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 Truck Raffle this summer. This year’s raffle raised over $81,000 to support the March of Dimes and give every baby a fighting chance. This year’s lucky winner was Kristin Martinelli of Plainville, Connecticut, Kristin’s stepfather is an employee at Ford’s Lima, Ohio plant. Pictured is the Martinelli family with their new Ford F-150. The Martinelli’s have a personal connection to the work of the March of Dimes - Kristin is holding her nephew, Boone, who was born almost 9 weeks early and is now strong and doing well.
