The fountain was once a prominent fixture in Planrsville.

SOUTHINGTON, CT – The Town Council on Monday endorsed a plan to move a fountain with historic ties to the Plantsville section of town, the Record-Journal reported.

The fountain is currently in a back yard and would be moved to the center of Plantsville, according to the story. It is featured in an old postcard for sale on eBay.

The stone fountain was once prominent part of Walkley Park in the early 1900s and was commissioned privately, according to historic records.
