Plantsville Resident Just Misses Massive Lotto Payout
Still, a winning ticket purchased at a Southington gas station Monday proved to be a nice 'investment.'
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A resident of the Plantsville section of Southington came up short this week playing a scratch-off lottery game, but it still turned out to be a decent investment.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the person purchased a "$20,000 A Year For Life 2nd Edition"game at the Plantsville Citgo gas station/convenience store at 960 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike on Monday, Feb. 3.
And while the player missed out on winning the top prize — $20,000 a year for the rest of their life, the 10,000 won playing the game represents a good investment for the $2 scratch-off.
