Police: Man Burglarizes Neighbor's Room in Econo Lodge
A man was allegedly caught on surveillance footage entering a nearby room. He allegedly took money from a victim.

Southington Police arrested a man who allegedly burglarized a room at the Econo Lodge.

A male compliantant reported on May 9 around 2:20 a.m. that a man entered his room while he was sleeping through an unsecured door, took money and left.
Police reviewed surveillance footage and saw a man, later identified as Roberto Ettore, 42, of Plainville walk from his room (#321) into the victim’s room (#323). The door was open approximately one inch.

He then exited the room, walked down the hallway and then returned to the victim’s room a second time before running down the hallway. The victim reported $17 missing from his room.
Officers found Ettore inside his own room.
Ettore was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of sixth-degree larceny.
