Police: No Connection Between NY Case and Missing Southington Man
Police said a Southington missing person case is still under investigation.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington police on Monday tried to squash the rumor mill about a possible connection connection between a deceased person found in New York State and the Charles Davenport case that currently under investigation in Southington.
They are still looking for him, according to a Mon day announcement.

Police said they have received several calls about the alleged connection.

A Silver Alert had been issued for Davenport on Nov. 28, the day after the 56-year-old went missing.
Davenport is a white male standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 230 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes, police said.
Davenport was last seen wearing a dark (black or blue) polo shirt with an "HCWilcox Carpentry" logo on it.
He was driving a gray 2016 Ford F150 truck with the Connecticut registration 96C-V66. Anyone seeing him can call Southington police at 860-621-0101.

Davenport is a carpenter by trade and may have tools in his truck, police said. The
four-door truck bears CT registration plate 96CV66 and is in very good condition with dark running boards,
chrome wheels and a matching gray “Leer" bed cap. On the back of the cap is a “CCDL” sticker.
