SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police this week are asking the public's help to solve two separate crimes involving theft and larceny at local businesses.

The Southington Police Department posted surveillance photos of suspects, vehicles and descriptions of the incidents and police are asking for help in identifying the culprits.

One of the incidents occurred Dec. 24, 2022 at the BJ's Wholesale Club, 75 Spring St., Southington.

According to police, about $1,000 worth of merchandise was stolen by two male suspects who fled the scene in a gold Infiniti sedan.

The other incident being investigated was reported April 14 at the YMCA on 29 High St.

According to police, two female suspects broke into vehicles at the YMCA parking lot, then went to a Walmart store at 235 Queen St. and purchased $617 worth of gift cards.
