Police Seek IDs Of Southington Target Heist Suspects
The Southington PD released images of the male and female believed responsible for a large shoplifting incident on Aug. 19.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police released surveillance images on Monday of two suspects believed responsible for a major shoplifting incident at the local Target store last month.
On Aug. 19 at about 7:15 p.m., the two individuals arrived at Target, located at 600 Executive Blvd., Southington, in a Silver Subaru Legacy, police said.
They entered the store separately shortly after their arrival.

According to police, the male was flagged by a store employee for suspicious activity a short time later.
Once the Target worker approached him, both he and his accomplice left the store with merchandise, police said.

Police said the items were confirmed to have been taken by the male, amounting to a total loss of $1,497.
"We are asking for the public's help to identify both of these suspects," wrote the SPD.
