Police: Southington Man Shoots a Bed After Drinking Shots
He is facing several charges.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local man seems to have given new meaning to the term sleeping it off.
He is now is facing criminal charges after firing a gun into a bed after drinking several shots of whiskey, police told the Record-Journal.
Kevin Clements, 49, of Zwicks Farm Road, was charged Monday with illegal discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace, according to the R-J story.

He was released on a promise to appear at Bristol Superior Court on Sept. 7.
