Pool, Splash Pad Open Until Sept. 10 In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — School starts next week as summer is winding down.

And while pupils will be going into classrooms on Thursday, Aug. 31, they can still cool off prior to and after that day at town pools and the splash pad.

This week, the Town of Southington announced its late-summer hours for the pool and splash pad at Memorial Park, which is located on Woodruff Street, Southington.

They will be open on a "modified schedule" through Sunday, Sept. 10.

"Hours vary by day and are subject to change due to weather conditions or safety issues," wrote the town.

The pool facilities at Recreation Park (Maxwell Noble Drive, Plantsville) will remain closed for renovations for the 2023 pool season.
