Inspired by real-life events and using music, dance and video, ENRON explores one of the most infamous scandals in financial history, reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world currently finds itself. With sharp dialogue, intense courtroom drama, dark humor, vaudevillian theatrics, and a trio of velociraptors, ENRON is more than a case study, it is a cautionary tale of greed, power, corporate sociopathy, human nature, and the dangers of blindly following “the smartest men in the room.”
The Hole in the Wall Theater (HITW) in New Britain, CT will present ENRON, Lucy Prebble’s play recounting the events of one of the most infamous scandals in financial history, as the sixth production of its 2014-2015 season.
Performances run Fridays & Saturdays from July 17 – August 8, 2015 at HITW on 116 Main Street in New Britain, CT.
