Program examines how exercise benefits mental well-being

NEWINGTON - Exercise can not only help improve muscular strength and flexibility, but it can also improve mood and boost long-term mental health. A free program on Wednesday, July 13, 7 to 9 p.m., will explore this topic. It will be held at Lucy Robbins Welles Library, 95 Cedar Street, Newington. Jarod Scoville, exercise physiologist, Cedar Mountain Commons assisted living and the GoodLife Fitness program, will lead the program.
