Program highlights how awareness can prevent accidents

CHESHIRE – Distracted driving is often heard as the cause of a vehicular accident. Distracted walking can also cause accidents, slips and falls. A free program, “How to Be Aware of Your Surroundings,” will be held Monday, Feb. 24, 10:30 a.m., at Cheshire Senior Center, 240 Maple Ave. Presenter Lisa Murawski, an exercise physiologist with GoodLife Fitness, will offer practical tips and strategies for avoiding tripping and possible injury. GoodLife Fitness is sponsoring.
