Project For New Bread For Life Home Moving Along
Bid woes have given way to construction.

SOUTHINGTON – Construction is moving along on the new Bread for Life location on Vermont Avenue.
After construction bids came in higher than anticipated, Bread of Life Board Chairman Mike Soltys told the Record-Journal that is is encouraging to see progress.
He also said he expects the building to be finished this year.

The non-profit offers meal deliveries, a lunch program, senior feeding programs and a school breakfasts.
The organization wants to consolidate spaces spread over five buildings in town.
