Proper Flag Disposal Program Offered by Southington Reps, Legion

SOUTHINGTON – State Reps. Rob Sampson (R-80) and John Fusco (R-81), in cooperation with American Legion Post No. 72, are offering residents a chance to retire their worn American flags.

A collection drive is running until Monday, June 12. A drop-off box is located inside the Southington Town Hall.

Collected flags will then be brought to the American Legion Post for dignified disposal during a proper retirement ceremony.
