Proposed Southington Zoning Amendments to be Reviewed at Hearing

Proposed Southington zoning amendments cover a variety of areas.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A set of zoning amendments has been initiated by the Southington Planning and Zoning Commission.

Residents will be able to review them and comment at public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, May 2, in the John Weichsel Municipal Center assembly room, 196 North Main St.

  • Business Zone Requirements
  • Industrial Zone Requirements
  • Special Permit Use
  • Automobile Parking and Loading Area Provisions
  • Unification of kennel requirements
  • Digital application submittal
  • Re-establishment of non-conforming buildings damaged by accidents
  • Paved driveway aprons

Copies of all proposed regulation amendments are also available for review in the Planning Department and are on file in the Office of the Town Clerk.
