Questions to ask the physician before having hip or knee replacement

Having hip or knee replacement is a procedure that can interrupt daily living for a long period of time but knowing what to ask the physician before the surgery may reduce anxieties while aid with recovery. Laurie Lee, a physical therapist with Southington Care Center Rehabilitation Services, will lead a program on Thursday, March 10 about what questions a patient should ask the doctor before having hip or knee replacement. The free event, sponsored by Hartford HealthCare Senior Services, will be held 1:30 to 3 p.m., at the Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St., Southington.
