Report: Southington Man Who Sold Heroin to Undercover Cops Charged

The accused dealer was arrested on Thursday, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A suspect in a local heroin operation has been charged, police said.

At 11:09 a.m. on Thursday, Brian Carroll, age 22, of Southington, was taken into custody at the Bristol Police Department on four active arrest warrants out of the Southington Police Department, a report indicates.

Carroll was transported to Southington police headquarters, where he was processed on four counts of selling illegal drugs, police said.

Carroll was held overnight on a court-set $75,000 bond on each warrant and was to appear in Bristol Superior Court Friday, police said.

During May of 2015, the Southington Police Department Special Investigations Unit received
information about Carroll selling heroin within the Town of Southington, police said.

Based on this four controlled purchases were made from Carroll, police said.

The warrants are sealed and no further information is being released, police said.
