Reward of $10,000 Offered in Stolen Dump Truck Case

Southington police posted the reward on their Facebook page this week.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington police are trying to help a regional food distribution company find a stolen dump truck.

Local police on their Facebook page posted an announcement from the Cheshire-based Bozzuto's Inc. that a $10,000 reward has been offered for the recovery.

"We are offering a reward of $10,000 for information leading to its return and/or identification of the person(s) responsible for this theft," Bozzuto's said on the reward poster.

Bozzuto's is describing the truck as a 2007 Kenworth tri-axle dump truck with a blue cab. It was taken on Dec. 3 at 2:23 a.m.

Bozzuto's Inc. is a wholesale distributor of food and household products to retailers in New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It was established in 1945.
