'S Mountain' Section Of Ledge Road Re-Opens in Southington
The road is closed for the winter.
SOUTHINGTON, CT - A section of Ledge Road known as "S Mountain" is open to traffic this week.
The road technically opened at 9 .m. on April 15, the traditional day traffic is allowed in it for the warm weather months, police said.
The steep, curvy section of the road is closed in December each year, town officials said.
