Salsa's Southwest Grill to Open 2nd Southington Location

The popular Salsa’s Southwest Grill is so busy that it’s planning to open a second outpost in Southington next month, offering Southington area residents another option to enjoy the burritos, tacos, salsa and soups.

Salsa’s current location at 1143 Meriden-Waterbury Tpke. can accommodate about 15 people at four tables, plus there’s a handful of outdoor picnic tables. Come September, a second Salsa’s Southwest Grill will open at 2211 Meriden-Waterbury Tpke., owner Leon Lopez tells the Record Journal.

The new location will have seating for about 100 patrons, a bar and feature an expanded menu, Lopez said.
