Second Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Bristol: Report
The incident Monday claimed the lives of two Bristol residents, one on Monday and, now, another on Tuesday.
BRISTOL, CT — The second of two pedestrians struck by a vehicle in Bristol is now dead, according to a report citing the Bristol Police Department.
WTHN Channel 8 has identified the second victim who died as being Nicholas Cricco, 34, of Bristol, who died on Tuesday. On Monday, Fay Clarity, 37, also of Bristol, died in the same accident.
On Monday morning, the Bristol Police Department was called to a serious crash at Pine Street (Route 72) and Emmett Street involving two pedestrians.

Police arrived and began life-saving measures until paramedics could arrive, according to the BPD.
Both pedestrians were transported to area hospitals where one pedestrian succumbed to their injuries Monday and the second one died Tuesday.

The Bristol Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to further investigate this crash.
Police said an eastbound vehicle was traveling on Pine Street and struck the two pedestrians, who appeared to have been within the crosswalk area.
The driver was able to stop their vehicle and remained on the scene, cooperating with responding police, the BPD said.
The driver has been identified as a 25-year-old Bristol woman and was not injured as a result of the crash, police said.
