Sexual Abuse Suspect Arrested in Southington: Police

The 36-year-old suspect was wanted by the McHenry County, IL Sheriff's Office.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - Geremy Wallace, 36, of Southington, was arrested by local Tuesday on a warrant charging him with three counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, according to Southington police.

The department was contacted about Wallace by the McHenry County, IL Sheriff's Office, and Southington police officers and members of the United States Marshals Service picked him up at his Cherry Street home at about 11 a.m.

Details of the case allegedly involving Wallace were not immediately available.

"He was taken into custody without incident as a fugitive from justice, transported to Southington Police Headquarters for arrest processing and held on a $500,000 bond," said Southington police in a statement, adding that the arrest is "fully extraditable."
