Shoplifting Suspect Sought In Southington

The Southington Police Department Friday released an image of a male pushing a shopping cart believed to have stolen $695 in items.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police are looking for the identification of a shopper they believe is responsible for a large shoplifting incident at a local store.

The Southington Police Department late Friday morning released a video surveillance image of the man, who is seen pushing a shopping cart out of a store.

Police did not disclose the store that was shoplifted, only calling it "a business in town."

According to the SPD, an estimated $695 in merchandise was stolen.
