Southington Man Found After Silver Alert (Updated)
John Pimpinelli had been missing since Thursday, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - Southington police said a local man has been located safe and sound after a Silver Alert had been sent out.
He was found in town at about 9 a.m., police said.
Southington police released the following statement:

"At approximately 9 a.m., Mr. Pimpinelli returned to his residence. He was found to be physically in good health. The Silver Alert has been cancelled . The Southington Police Department would like to thank everyone involved for their assistance in this matter."

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 68-year-old Southington man, police said.
John Pimpinelli has been missing since Thursday, police said. He is being described as 5-foot-9, 250 pounds white with gray hair and brown eyes.
Police said he could be driving a gray Honda Accord with the Connecticut registration 128-TYU.
Police said anyone with information about Pimppinelli should call the Southingon station at 860-621-0101.
